Hypertune (HT): Hi Jesz, thanks for taking the time to talk to us.
Jesz Yap (JY): It's no problem! Ask away!

HT: Right, so what are you doing now, and what have you been up to since being crowned TXN Race Queen?
JY: Well, I'm actually going back to college soon to study child education, but until then, I'm looking around for a job.

HT: Child education? That's very noble of you. Is it true that you used to work as an air stewardess? Why did you quit?
JY: Yeah I used to work as an air stewardess and it just got too hectic and tiring, it's a totally different lifestyle, you hardly have any time for yourself.

HT: Ah, I know how you feel; deadline time at the magazine is hell. So how does it feel to win the Miss TXN pageant and where do you think you will go from there?
JY: Oh wow, I didn't expect to win at all because it was just so competitive, but I am very glad that I won however, and I will try to participate in more car related events and also to learn more about the modeling industry.

HT: Excellent, I'm sure there are many people out there who would love to see more of you. Uhh…I mean more of-…not more of you as in-…uh nevermind. So what is your favourite car at the moment?
JY: Uhmmm…I like Hondas!

HT: Any particular model?
JY: The Integra, both the DC2 and DC5.

HT: Wow, excellent choice! I only drive a Civic…but its still a Honda…wanna hang out sometime?
JY: (Instantly) No.

HT: Ok, sorry. (I die a little inside at this point.) So what are your hobbies and interests?
JY: I love sports; I'm a very outdoorsy kind of person. I also enjoy go-karting and pool and snooker. I also love to sing and just hanging out with my friends.

HT: This is what I'm sure most of our readers are dying to know: what do you look for in a man?
JY: He has to have similar interests to mine and has to be taller. I love piercings and tattoos though. And he doesn't have to be rich.

HT: I have piercings and tattoos!
JY: So?

HT: (I die a little more.) So how would you describe yourself when you're in a relationship?
JY: Hmmm…well…I would say I'm protective, but not controlling.

HT: That's nice, gotta give a man a little freedom, ya know? So what are your future plans?
JY: Well I am only 21, so I'm still quite young and have a got a long way ahead of me. I guess I'll go back to college and do some modeling on the side and car events as well, but modeling will only be a side thing for me, education is my prime focus now.

HT: Excellent! Ok Jesz, that's all I need, thank you so much for your time. Good luck in college!
JY: Thanks!
